First off I would like to say Charlie is one class act, communication is the best ive ever dealt with, no waiting around for days on an email.
The Discovery VTT 6x24x50 is quite a value for the money, it met my every expectation.
I have some other pretty good scopes that cost way more than this one but actually fall a little short compared to the discovery. Plus the free scope rings is the icing on the cake.
The accessories that come with the VTT model are really good and the scope cam mount actually works well. Thanks Airgun Optics Plus for a great value.

Got the scope quick and mounted it. Had a little trouble getting it squared up between the reticle and top turret. As I have used it, which has been very littl, I have noticed that the reticle has now started rotating to the left. Put out a text to the dealer I bought it from here and we’ll see how it’s handled.

Definitely worth the price. I also have the Discovery 4.5-18 FFP scope and this one is fully as good. I just wish that they would ship the scope without the cell phone adapter and reduce the price accordingly. Super sharp and point of impact does not change with a change of magnification, I don't check tracking on scopes because I always use mildots not clicks. Other users say that tracking is good but I can't confirm. Distance scale seems to be pretty accurate. I like that the elevation and windage are zero resettable. All in all, probably best scope for the money.

Nice glass! Functions well, fits great on my Taipan Veteran Long .25cal. Excellent service!!

Purchased a Diana AM03. It came with a 3x9-40 scope. Not bad but not what I wanted. The Discovery VTT is a much better compliment. Clear glass, great eye relief, excellent tracking and focus. Great value. This is my 3rd Discovery VTT.
The only thing I would change is the texture on the magnification ring. It is not grippy enough

I absolutely love this scope on my PCP! Once I got it zeroed, tight groups ensued. I do primarily pest control. Yesterday I made shots that I would NEVER have tried with my old SFP scope. Pinpoint accurate head shots at 40yds. Optics are very clear. This is my first FFP—not my last!

To make a long story short I ordered the wrong scope, I wanted a FFP and the scope I ordered was a SFP, so I contacted customer service and turns out you can text the owner Charlie Sexton, in minutes he replied to my text. I was like wow that was quick. He canceled my order then made some recommendations and I settled on the
Discovery Optics VT-T 6-24X50 SFVF First Focal Plane... awesome scope.. ty Charlie. For now on when I buy a scope this is where I will be shopping... Customer service is second to none!!! Oh he also through in the scope rings and the Side Parallax Wheel. I love the Reticle in this scope, the glass is extremely clear and i think it’s the best bang for the buck...

I've only had a chance to shoot it at 25 yards. But it's shooting well. It zeroed up nicely in three shots at 25. For some reason I had to shim the rear of this scope a tiny bit. I've shot three other scopes on the Gauntlet and haven't had to shim. Love the reticle and the turrets feel great.
Thanks to Charlie for the communication and fast service.

I absolutely love this scope!!!! You can surely reach out and touch what ever you’re sighting on. All adjustments are easy to work and adjust. The only problem I have is with the fast focus eyepiece flip dust cover. I have to turn all the way out in order to focus on the reticle and with this done the cover will not fit snug. You must turn the eyepiece back in for it to fit properly. I feel they could redesign. Other than that small problem this is a GREAT scope.

Great product, put this 6-24 on my Texan SS, very happy with this scope, will be buying again from Airgun Optics, great communication and service,

Great scope for the money. Positive click, repeatable turrets and bright optics along with solid build quality. Very pleased.
Jack Y.
Got it mounted and sighted in. It works great. The camera adapter that comes with it works but was a pain to be use if you wanted to use the eyepiece because you have to remove 4 screws to remove it. I made a adapter so I could just slide it of. It was free with the scope and is solid built. The scope it very good. I would bay it again.
Daniel M.
Can’t wait to get out and test it, but it sure is built very well. And looks great on my Benjamin Bulldog. Will add more info after I get some play time in with it.

This is a really nice scope, Charlie had this packaged and shipped the very next day. Looking forward to doing more business in the future.

Purchased this Discovery VT-T 6x24x50 FFP scope in September last year! The Parallax is spot on from 10yds to 80 yds...very clear! The mil dots are most helpful! For any other sccope of equal quality you'd be paying $400 plus dolllars. Have nothing but good to speak about this Discovery scope!

Put this scope on my new Marauder .22 Tracking seems to work well. Waiting for warmer weather to fully test this scope. Very good customer service.

Very clear. Beautiful image. Every adjusting knob do what it should very nicely. Great.
Shawn C.
Good scope but I noticed that when I zoom in, the black on the sides do not match. That is, one disappears before the other. Haven't got a chance to test it yet, but that's not a good sign.

Have been looking at these scopes for some time and have just been waiting on enough funds to purchase one. The delivery was quick from Charlie as the shipping is done USPS priority mail, so I had it in two business days. Although I did purchase a set of dovetail rings to go with this scope I chose not to use them as I already had a set of 30mm rings mounted from a previous scope. Because I want to be able to add range markers for longer shots I also shimmed my rear ring with three layers of electrical tape to give me a little extra elevation. It only took about three shots to bring it onto zero at 25 yards after which I dialed for 50 yards and spent several minutes dancing a small pill bottle out to 58 yards where it disappeared into the weeds. I am pleased with the clarity and light transmission in this scope and the magnification works well and is very clear up to 20x but at 24x the resolution falls off a very small amount but not anything to quibble about. The one thing I have added is a scope lever for the magnification ring as it was quite tight (good thing) so it was easier for my old arthritic fingers to turn. I also added the swat ring from Charlie for the parallax wheel and have it mounted because I bought it, but it was not hard to dial compared to other scopes I own. I will definetley consider another Discovery scope in the future if I purchase an additional air rifle.

Not as clear glass as the hype.
Still a good scope.

Recently purchased a Umarex Gauntlet and it needed a scope. I took my Vortex Strike Eagle 6-24 x 50 scope off my CZ 527 223 Varmint rifle and put it on the Gauntlet waiting for the Discovery VT-T 6-24 x 50 to arrive and put it on the Gauntlet. I got the scope this morning and after looking at it, I decided to keep the Strike Eagle on the Gauntlet and put the Discovery on the CZ 527.
The Discovery scope is really nice. So much so that I like it better than the Vortex scope...which I have two of. All my next scopes will be the Discovery scopes. They are that good and you cannot beat the price.

It is my first discovery, so far excellent! very clear and very precise, great recommendation from mr Rhea and mr Hajimoto, excellent quality at a great price, of course I recommend it
Paul E.
The scope tracks excellent with positive clicks, very clear sight picture at all magnifications, FFP is awesome because your aim points don’t change with using different magnifications and looks great on the gun. I have more expensive scopes with clear glass but not FFP and this scope is just as clear. The AO works perfect and the yardages is spot on. If your considering this scope just buy it you like it.

this is my first time to use discovery vt t 4-16 x50 and its very bright and accurate.I enjoy hunting .I have a plan to buy my second scope to my air arms s510 FAC.

The scope looks and works fantastic. Worth waiting on the backorder. The scopecam apparatus is too small for an IPhone 7 Plus however. No big deal for me but others may want to know. Thanks Charlie!
Shawn D.
Charlie was great and scope is exactly what my new FX Wildcat .30 needed. Amazing clarity with a world of adjustments. Thanks again
David L.
Hi, I love my new scope, but have not been able to shoot the rifle yet,as I just bought the Gauntlet in 25 Cal. ,and don't have any pellets yet. Thanks, Dave.
Brian L.
I found the VV-T 6-24 to be very sharp and clear. For what it cost it’s a great deal. I’m not crazy about the cell phone mount as putting it on and off the scope is time consuming as unless you remove scope from rifle you need to screw and unscrew the tube from the mount a 5 minute procedure every time you want to use it. Once it’s on it works OK but it won’t last as sooner or later you will loose the screws or the threads will strip.
I still would highly recommend this scope to anyone looking for a FFP. To my eyes it’s sharper than a Athlon scope thAt I have.
Ken N.
It's on a Savage 12FV 6.5 Creedmore now but come spring it will either be on a discovery, M-rod or one of my other air rifles. The shade tube works great when facing the sun. Love this scope and my friend wants one now.
Ken N.
Well the weather is bad here in southern Indiana so I can't get out to shoot yet, but even with the sunshade in place it is bright and clear. There is not a single thing that I could say that's bad about buying or mounting this scope. The scope works just as it should. This is my 3rd first focal plane scope and without second thought, it is the best. When the weather gets better I will be taking pictures and making videos with it.

This is my review is the Discovery Optics VT-T 6-24x50 SFVF
I have purchased several Discovery scopes over the years starting back in 2015. I have always been impressed with the performance of Discovery scopes. The VT-T scope is quality through and through and worthy of your consideration.

Awesome scope. Fast shipping. Will be getting another 1 or 2 more.

I bought the 6x24x50 FFP version. Mounted it, I was really concerned about how thin the reticle is!
Went to the range today and worked it over. First off, the eye relief and eye box are much better than my Vector 8x32 FFP. The glass is clear at all ranges. The turrets are nice with audible clicks and lock down. I was a MOA guy and want to try the MIL, Not going back to MOA!
As mentioned, the reticle is thin, real thin on low power. But it didn't take long to get used to it and it makes you more precise. Also of note. I mounted this on a .25 FX Crown. After getting it zeroed I did the box test using 2 mils. back to zero perfectly. After several hundred more rounds, another box test with the same results. People, this optic for $270.00 is an awesome buy!
